Students of the HSE Bachelor's programme in Business Informatics have developed an eye-catching, user-friendly website for the ‘Soulful Bazar’ project, a large-scale charity fair traditionally held in Moscow on the eve of the New Year. This year, the “Charity Tree” New Year celebration will be held on December 22 at the Expocentre off the Krasnopresnenskaya embankment.

In late October, students from the HSE School of Business Informatics organised the second Major League Hacking (MLH) hackathon hosted in Moscow. The participants of the event, which include students and alumni of Russian and foreign universities, developed IT solutions for Russian companies. 

“How I Spent My Summer Vacations”: on Digital Innovations and Beyond

A new program has been launched at the School of Business Informatics this year:  a bachelor’s parallel degree programme in Management and Digital Innovation. Maxim Diakov, a student of Bachelor’s programme “Business Informatics”, shared his impressions of getting acquainted with the London School of Economics during the summer school, that took place recently.

Ivan Kamakin, the 2nd year student of the School of Business Informatics, and the faculty analyst Olesya Sinitsina as part of the team Dolphin Blockchain Itelligence (among other participants are Alexander Nikolaev, Andrey Varnavskiy, Sergey Vivier, Pavel Sidorov and Alexander Garkusha) became the winners of the hackathon in blockchain-projects development.

French Delegation Visits School of Business Informatics to Discuss Cooperation in Big Data Studies

In March 2016, the School of Business Informatics (Faculty of Business and Management) at HSE was visited by a delegation from France’s University of Évry; in late 2015, a student exchange agreement was signed between HSE and this university. The delegation brought 19 students from the Master’s programmes in the field of big data at the University of Évry to Moscow.
