Description

While industries and corporations have acknowledged the importance of Web 2.0 and started integrating Web 2.0 in their business processes, they have made only limited contributions to the burgeoning knowledge in Web 3.0. Over the last decade, various technologies have moved to the qualitatively new phase of development. Mobile wireless communications, new data retrieval and new data processing techniques have been introduced. All of that with the Internet of Everything paradigm and customer-centric approach formed a new concept of the Smart Services. Smart Services concept means that soon we might have fully globalized services that would allow business to transform according to a new step of globalization considering customer-centric approach and digital economy based on data.

ITSS2020 is an international workshop on advances in theory, applications and different approaches to using IoT and Smart Services. This workshop is about business transformation due to digital economy implementation and about new types of services and innovative business models stemming from the high impact of IoT and data-based services as the next step in globalization including new strategy and recommendations on Digital Economy by WEF.

Goals

The aim of the workshop is to encourage activities in the field of Digital Economy (based on Smart Services and the Internet of Things) and to bring together worldwide researchers with an interest in digital economy as well. Unlike the conventional conferences, this workshop will mainly discuss and explore theoretical and practical problems raised by the participants (we also expect industry-experts participation). Especially, we provide enough discussion parses for understanding the importance of sustainability and the relationships between the Computer science and Management science.

The topics of the workshop are:

  • Intelligent Web Applications
  • Smart Commerce
  • Web 3.0 services
  • Web of Things
  • Internet of Things
  • Smart Services
  • Collaborative economy
  • Big Data and Big Data Analytics for Smart Services
  • Personal services and e-commerce

Format

Duration of the workshop: half day.

There will be 1-2 panel presentations on main aspects of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Services impact on modern business processes and business transformation, at the same time there will be call for papers. All received papers will be structured according to the panel presentations, after each presentation there should be discussion on mentioned topic with short resolution at the end.

Organizers also would like to have possibility to allow some (1-2) of the authors participate at the workshop remotely via Skype (if they are not able to come due to personal reasons).

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not being considered in another forum. Manuscripts will be from 4 to 8 pages and should be submitted in the IEEE format.

Papers redirected from the main conference will be also considered by the program committee of the workshop.

Proceedings will be published as a general CBI workshop proceedings with CBI.
